The greatest offering to the Sacred Tooth Relic by the indigenous community. It is an ancient custom to offer (pooja) the best honey taken from the jungles to the Sacred Tooth Relic on the first day of Randoli Procession. It was done today (18) morning as per the ancient custom by Uru Warige Wannile Aththo, the chief of the community. After the offering, the Most Ven. Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Medankara thero, in charge of the Dalada theva handed over a supply of masks to be used.
සෑම වසරකම ඇසළ පෙරහර මංගල්ලයේ පළමු රන්දෝලි පෙරහර දිනයේ ආදිවාසි ජනතාව විසින් දළදා හාමුදුරුවන්ට මහත් භක්තියෙන් යුතුව මී පැණි පූජා කිරීම පෞරාණික සිරිතකී. අද(18) පෙරවරුවේ ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගයට පැමිණි ආදිවාසි නායක ඌරුවරිගේ වන්නිල ඇත්තන් ප්‍රධාන ආදිවාසී ජනතාව විසින් මේ වසරේ ද එම චාරිත්‍රය ඉටුකරන ලදී. ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ තේවාව භාරව කටයුතු කරන අතිපූජ්‍ය තිත්බටුවාවේ ශ්‍රී සිද්ධාර්ථ මේධංකර නාහිමිපාණන් වහන්සේ විසින් මී පැණි පූජාවෙන් පසු ආදිවාසි ජනතාවගේ පරිහරණය සඳහා මුඛ ආවරණ තොගයක් ද මෙහි දී පරිත්‍යාග කරන ලදී.
