මහනුවර ඇසළ පෙරහර තේමාකර ගනිමින් දිවයිනේ විවිධ ප්‍රදේශ වල සිත්තරුන් විසින් සිතුවම්කර ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ මාධ්‍ය කාර්යාංශයට එවා තිබූ චිත්‍ර ඇතුලත් “ඇසළ පෙරහරයි සිතුවම් පෙළහරයි” සිතුවම් ප්‍රදර්ශණය අද (අගෝ. 7) සිට ආරම්භ කෙරුණා. එය පුරා දින 4ක් මහනුවර රැජින හෝටල් පරිශ්‍රයේ දී පෙ.ව 10 සිට ප.ව 03 වන තෙක් පැවැත්වේ. අද පෙරවරුවේ සිතුවම් ප්‍රදර්ශණය සමාරම්භක අවස්ථාව සඳහා සම්භාවනීය අමුත්තන් ඇතුළු විශාල පිරිසක් එක් විය. විවෘත අංශයේ සිතුවම් අද දින ප්‍රදර්ශණය කෙරුණු අතර, හෙට (අගෝ. සිට පිළිවෙලින් අ.වු 6-10 අංශයේ සිතුවම් 2022.08.08 දින, අ.වු 11-16 අංශයේ සිතුවම් 2022.08.09 දින සහ අ.වු 17-18 අංශයේ සිතුවම් 2022.08.10 යන දිනයන් හීදී ප්‍රදර්ශණයට තැබීමට නියමිතයි.

The greatest offering to the Sacred Tooth Relic by the indigenous community. It is an ancient custom to offer (pooja) the best honey taken from the jungles to the Sacred Tooth Relic on the first day of Randoli Procession. It was done today (Aug. 7) morning as per the ancient custom by Uru Warige Wannile Aththo, the chief of the community. සෑම වසරකම ඇසළ පෙරහර මංගල්ලයේ පළමු රන්දෝලි පෙරහර දිනයේ ආදිවාසි ජනතාව විසින් දළදා හාමුදුරුවන්ට මහත් භක්තියෙන් යුතුව මී පැණි පූජා කිරීම පෞරාණික සිරිතකී. අද (අගෝස්තු 07) පෙරවරුවේ ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගයට පැමිණි ආදිවාසි නායක ඌරුවරිගේ වන්නිල ඇත්තන් ප්‍රධාන ආදිවාසී ජනතාව විසින් මේ වසරේ ද එම චාරිත්‍රය ඉටුකරන ලදී.

Indiraja the Ceremonial Tusker carried the Relic Casket with Burumaraja & Miyanraja in the tusker group, amidst the traditional performers & craftsmen unveiling the timeless heritage and the rise of onlookers to pay homage to the Relic Casket on the 5th day, marking the end of Kumbal procession. කුඹල් පෙරහැර සමාප්තිය තබමින් පස්වන කුඹල් පෙරහරදා නේක නෘත්යන්ද රාජකාරි නිල ඇත්තන්ද පිරිවරකොට දෙපස දැලේ බුරුමරාජා සහ මියන්ර‍ාජා ඇත් රජුන් පිරිවරා ගරු බුහුමන් මැද,ඉන්දිරාජා මංගල මංගල හස්ති රාජයා විසින් පෙරහර කරඬු වහන්සේ වැඩමවන ලදී.

The Donation Of Colourful& Glamourous Costumes For The Elephants And Tuskers, who will be adorning the Kandy Esala Perahera Festival 2022 were donated today (29th July)morning at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Mrs. WasanaPerera donated the set of costumes for the 4thconsecutive time to be used for the first Kumbal procession on the 2nd August marking the commencement of the Kandy EsalaPerahera Festival 2022. Mrs. ChathurikaWijetunga& Mrs. Rupika Costa donated the costumes for the 2ndKumbal procession for the 9th consecutive time under the guidance of Rev. YatiyantotaChandakittiThero. For the 3rdKumbal procession a costume made out of Batik by Mr. LahiruAsangaSrinayake& Mr. Sunil Rabel was donated with the sponsorship of Member of Parliament Hon.DumindaDissanayake, Mrs. JayaniThiseraDissanayake, Mrs. ChandimaJayasuriya& Mr. SankaMuthuranwela. For the 4thKumbal procession by Mrs. SaumyaHerath and for the royal tusker group of  5thKumbal procession by Mrs. NisansalaPerera of Kandy for the 3rd consecutive time. For the royal tusker group of 1stRandoli procession by Mrs. DisnaWanigasekera for the 4th consecutive time, For the 2ndRandoli procession by Mrs. WasanthaRukmaniPerera for the 9th consecutive time under the guidance of Rev. YatiyantotaChandakittiThero, for the 3rdRandoli procession costumes were donated  by Mr. R. N. Rajapakse for the 8th consecutive time. Other than the above the below mentioned ladies & gentlemen also donated beautiful costumes for the tuskers taking part in the Kandy EsalaPerahera Festival 2022, NethranjaliRanaweera, GimhanRashintha, ShehaniNanayakkara, SameeraLakshan, ChandaniNawaratne, ChathurikaWijetunga, AruniUthpalaDissanayake, SamarasingheAppuhami, NalinTharinduShalinda&BanuGamage. 2022 ඓතිහාසික කන්ද උඩරට ඇසළ පෙරහර මහා මංගල්ලය විචිත්‍රවත් කරන හස්ථිරාජයින් සඳහා වන අලංකාරවත් හස්ථි වස්ත්‍ර පරිත්‍යාගය අද (ජූලි 29) දින පෙරවරුවේ ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ දී සිදු විය. අගෝස්තු 02 වන දා ඇරඹෙන කන්ද උඩරට ඇසළ පෙරහරේ පළමු කුඹල් පෙරහරේ මංගල හස්ථිරාජයින් වෙනුවෙන් වාසනා පෙරේරා මහත්මිය සිව්වෙනි වතාවට ඇත් ඇඳුම් පරිත්‍යාග කළ අතර දෙවන කුඹල් පෙරහර වෙනුවෙන් නමවෙනි වරටත් පූජ්‍ය යටියන්තොට චන්දකිත්ති ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේගේ මඟ පෙන්වීමෙන් චතුරිකා විජේතුංග මහත්මිය සහ රූපකා කොස්තා මහත්මිය විසින් ඇත් ඇඳුම් පූජා කරන ලදී. තෙවන කුඹල් පෙරහර සඳහා ලහිරු අසංග ශ්‍රී නායක මහතා සහ සුනිල් රබෙල් මහතා විසින් බතික් වලින් නිර්මාණය කළ ඇත් ඇඳුම් කට්ටලයක් පූජා කරන ලදී. පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත‍්‍රී දුමින්ද දිසානායක මැතිතුමා, ජයනි තිසේරා දිසානායක මැතිතුමිය, චන්දිමා ජයසූරිය මැතිතුමිය සහ ජයසංඛ මුතුරන්වෙල මහතා මේ සඳහා මූලිකත්වය ගෙන කටයුතු කරන ලදි. සිව්වන කුඹල් පෙරහර සඳහා සෞම්‍යා හේරත් මැතිණියත්, පස්වෙනි කුඹල් පෙරහරේ මංගල හස්ථිරාජයින් සඳහා තුන්වෙනි වරටත් ඇත් ඇඳුම් පරිත්‍යාග කරනු ලැබුවේ මහනුවර නිසංසලා පෙරේරා මහත්මියයි. පළමු රන්දෝලි පෙරහරේ මංගල හස්ථිරාජයින් සඳහා දිස්නා වනිගසේකර මහත්මිය විසින් සිව්වෙනි වරටත්, දෙවන රන්දෝලි පෙරහර සඳහා නමවෙනි වරටත් පූජ්‍ය යටියන්තොට චන්දකිත්ති ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේගේ මඟ පෙන්වීමෙන් වසන්තා රුක්මනී පෙරේරා මත්මියත්, තුන්වන රන්දෝලි පෙරහර වෙනුවෙන් අටවෙනි වරටත් ආර්.එන්. රාජපක්ෂ මහතා ද ඇත් ඇඳුම් පරිත්‍යාග කරනු ලැබුවා. සිව්වන රන්දෝලි පෙරහර වෙනුවෙන් අඛණ්ඩව එකොළොස් වරටත් පානදුරේ සාගරිකා තිරිමාන්න මහත්මිය ඇත් ඇඳුම් පරිත්‍යාග කරන ලදී. අවසන් මහා රන්දෝලි පෙරහර වෙනුවෙන් 28 වෙනි වතාවටත් කැන්ඩි සිටි සෙන්ටර් හි (KCC) අධිපති තුසිත විජේසේන මැතිතුමන් මංගල හස්ථිරාජයින් සඳහා ඇත් ඇඳුම් පූජා කරන ලදී. අවසන් මහා රන්දෝලි පෙරහරේ පෙරමුණේ ඇතු සඳහා ඇත් ඇඳුම් පිරිණමනු ලැබුවේ නිමාත්‍රි දන්දෙණිය මැතිණිය විසිනී. සසන්කා අල්විස් මැතිණිය දහවල් පෙරහර වෙනුවෙන් ඇත් ඇඳුම් පරිත්‍යාග කරනු ලැබුවා. මීට අමතරව,නේත‍්‍රාන්ජලී රණවීර, ගිම්හාන් රශින්ත, ශෙහානි නානායක්කාර, සමීර ලක්ෂාන්, චාන්දනී නවරත්න, චතුරිකා විජේතුංග, අරුණි උත්පලා දිසානායක, සමරසිංහ අප්පුහාමි, නලින් තරුඳු ශාලින්ද, බානු ගමගේ යන මහත්ම මහත්මීන් විසින්ද 2022 ඓතිහාසික කන්ද උඩරට ඇසළ පෙරහර මහා මංගල්ලය විචිත්‍රවත් කරන හස්ථිරාජයින් සඳහා වන අලංකාරවත් හස්ථි වස්ත්‍ර පරිත්‍යාගය කරන ලදී.

The Planting of “Kapa” at the four Devalaya premises today..The “Kap Chanting” which took place yesterday early morning marking the beginning of Kandy Esala Perahera Festival 2022 was planted today (July 29) at the four Devalaya premises at the auspicious time for this ritual. As the first ritual of the Kandy Esala Perahera Festival comes to an end, the inside processions will commence from today onwards at Natha, Vishnu, Kataragama and Paththini Devalaya premises. සිව් මහා දේවාල වෙත ගෙනා “කප” සුබ මෙහොතින් අද සිටුවන ලදී..ඓතිහාසික කන්ද උඩරට ඇසළ මහා පෙරහර ආරම්භය සනිටුහන් කරමින්, කප කැපීම ඊයේ අළුයම් යාමයේ සිදු වූ අතර එසේ කපා මහනුවර සිව් මහා දේවාල වෙත රැගෙන ආ කප අද (ජූලි 29) අළුයම යෙදුන සුබ මෙ‍ෙහාතින් සිටුවන ලදී. 2022 කන්ද උඩරට ඇසළ මහා පෙරහර මංගල්ලය වෙනුවෙන් ප්‍රතමයෙන් ඉටුකළ පුරාතන චාරිත්‍රය එසේ අවසන් වන විට අද දින පටන් නාථ, විශ්ණු, කතරගම හා පත්තිනි යන සිව් මහා දේවාලවල අභ්‍යන්තර පෙරහර ආරම්භ වනු ඇති.
